Year 10 - DNA Extraction

My aim was to properly extract a kiwi fruits DNA

Here is our method

These are the results:

the DNA floated up and clumped together. and the bottom looks like banana flavored milk


Discussions

water helped break the kiwi fruit apart a pinch of salt helped clump the DNA together
and the ethanol made the DNA visible


I conclude that the DNA has been separated  from the rest of the kiwi fruit
